Empowering Educators and Learners for the Age of AI
The EDEN Open Classroom Conference 2025 took place on November 7–8, 2025, at Ellinogermaniki Agogi, within the framework of the Discovery Space and AI4Edu projects. The event brought together leading experts to explore the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in education. It provided an excellent opportunity to present the work carried out in the FAITH project, as part of the Education Large-Scale Pilot (LSP), highlighting approaches for trustworthy and ethical AI in school environments.
Dr. Dimitris Koulentianos from EA co-chaired the Introductory Session and coordinated the workshop AI-enhanced Formative Assessment of Students’ Problem-Solving Competence, in collaboration with Mr. Nikolaos Antonios Grammatiokos from ICCS.
The conference also featured presentations by Prof. Gregoris Mentzas from ICCS, entitled Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence and the Future of STEM Education, and Dr. Evangelia Anagnostopoulou, entitled Towards Trustworthy AI in STEM Education: Challenges and Strategies from the Trust-AI Platform.
