FAITH at EUSOMII 2025: Advancing Trustworthy AI in Medical Imaging
The FAITH project organized a dedicated session “EUSOMII meets Greece” at the EUSOMII Annual Meeting 2025, held from 10 to 11 October in Heraklion, Crete. The event brought together leading researchers, clinicians, and industry experts to discuss the latest advances in artificial intelligence and its applications in medical imaging.
This year’s conference focused on building trustworthy and explainable AI systems, a key priority for the FAITH consortium. FAITH contributed to the ongoing dialogue on how AI can be responsibly integrated into clinical workflows, ensuring both transparency and reliability in decision-making processes.
During the session, Prof Marias gave a lecture on “Frameworks and Tools for Trustworthy AI” and Dr Pezoulas on “Integrating AI Agents in Medical Imaging”. Both lectures presented the frameworks, methodologies, and tools developed within FAITH to foster trust in AI solutions for healthcare. Participants gained insights into how FAITH’s research supports the creation of reliable, ethical, and human-centred AI systems designed to enhance clinical outcomes and support medical professionals.
