FAITH Project Featured at the European Researchers’ Night 2025

The European Researchers’ Night 2025 was successfully hosted once more at Ellinogermaniki Agogi in Pallini, welcoming more than 600 visitors from across Attica. Organized under the PICO project, the event transformed science into an interactive experience, inviting the public to explore topics ranging from quantum phenomena to cosmic mysteries.

Throughout the evening, researchers, educators and students led engaging presentations and hands-on activities designed to bring cutting-edge science closer to everyday life. Highlights included classic physics demonstrations such as the photoelectric effect, which reveals how light uncovers the structure of matter, and the double slit experiment, showcasing the wave–particle duality at the heart of quantum mechanics. Dr. Sofoklis Sotiriou captivated audiences with insights into the double slit experiment and neutrino astronomy, while Dr. Dimitris Koulentianos guided visitors through the workings of the photoelectric effect.

Artificial Intelligence also played a prominent role in the event’s program through activities inspired by the FAITH Project, which investigates how AI can foster inclusive and personalized learning. Visitors had the opportunity to interact with AI-powered educational tools and discover how these technologies are shaping the future of education and research. The participation of the FAITH project in the European Researchers’ Night reflects its ongoing commitment to making advanced technologies accessible and meaningful to learners of all ages, bridging the gap between research, innovation, and education.
